Fine Art and Design in Education part-time programme
The part-time course is intended for students with a diploma in higher professional or university education with little visual experience and/or didactic experience All part-time students have a different background and differ in terms of educational level and age. This diversity has a stimulating effect on their fellow students and tutors.
Up to date
A lot is expected from you as a future teacher. It is important to be capable of conveying knowledge about the traditions of fine art and today’s visual culture clearly to pupils. To do so, you must be up to date and keep up with the developments within the contemporary art practice. You are capable to create original visual work that is the product of research, experiments, reflection and your own personal fascinations. You are very interested both in art as well as in education. You learn about the applications of the digital media used within the educational field. And you are able to use digital media as an instrument both in your creative process as well as in your teaching process. You also learn how to act as an artistic coordinator for the subject Cultural and Artistic Education (CKV).
