Graduation Prize 2017

On Monday 27 November 2017 the AHK will celebrate the sixth edition of the AHK Graduation Prize (Eindwerkprijs). Students and teachers nominate the best graduation work for the prize.

Three awards

For the first time, there will be three awards this year: €3,000 for a bachelor project, €3,000 for a master project and an Audience Award which will be specified during the ceremony.

How do you compare choreography with an architectural design, or a heritage thesis with a mime performance? The jury are faced with a difficult task each year. Important criteria upon which the jury evaluates the entries, in addition to them having been assessed as good, include the way in which a connection is made with the outside world in the graduation project, and the relevance of the work for the further development of the profession. This should be apparent from the entry and your motivation.

Nomination and submission

  1. Would you like to nominate your own or someone else's graduation work for the Graduation Prize? Please fill in the nomination form.

  2. The deadline for the nominated student for submitting all necessary documents is 13 September 2017.

  3. Finally, make sure your work is presented at the website of Graduates. Check the undefinedcommunity Lichting 2017 on MyAHK for more information about editing or requesting your profile.

Based on a pre-selection a shortlist of nominees will be announced in October. The jury will announce the winners from the pre-selection during the award ceremony.
