SNDO 2 Festival 2017

Friday 21 April 2017, 19.00 - 21.00 uur
Academie voor Theater en Dans, Jodenbreestraat 3, Amsterdam

The second year students of the SNDO - School for New Dance Development create one assessed work during their second year at the SNDO. In this process students gain experience in working with and within the technical theater environment, more specifically in the studio setting within the Academy of Theatre and Dance. They are supported by production and technical staff, yet encouraged to create a self-run performance evening.

The students learn both to communicate their artistic visions to the staff as well as working within a festival like context, in which they need to collaborate and negotiate with their student colleagues. This year’s program is divided in two parts presenting the works of Stina Fors, Mami Kang, Emile Lagarde, Alexey Shkolnik and Maya Tamir on 6, 7 and 8 April and works of Elisabeth Raymond, Milou van Duijnhoven, Ahmed Elgendy, Maria Netti Nüganen, Diego Oliveira and Mezhgan Saleh on 20, 21 and 22 April 2017. Starting time: 19:00. Location: Academy of Theatre and Dance, studios 602 and 609.

Production and PR coordinator: Stephanie Lühn; Technical assistance: Kiki Heslenfeld, ATT Academie voor Theater en Dans; Mentor SNDO 2: Bruno Listopad.
