AIDS Memorial Quilts become heritage

Students of the Reinwardt Academy have done research on the future of the Dutch collection of AIDS Memorial Quilts. The patchwork is a collection of memorial cloths with names and pictures of people who died of the consequences of AIDS.

About us

The Reinwardt Academy of Cultural Heritage, a faculty of the Amsterdam School of the Arts, offers you the opportunity to equip yourself to become an all-round professional in the field of cultural heritage.

The Academy offers both a bachelor's and master's degree programme. The bachelor's degree programme is a Dutch-taught, skills-based programme with a practical orientation.

The English spoken master's degree programme offers graduates a multi-faceted programme equipping them to take up leadership and policy-making positions within heritage organizations, museums and the cultural sector.
