Summer School Package Deal
Summer School participants can choose to stay at the Amsterdam based 
Stayokay Youth Hostel (Zeeburg location). This modern, recently completely renovated hostel is located in a quiet, typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. The Muziektheater is less than 15 minutes away by bike or by tram (direct connection).
Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg has its own café-restaurant where a breakfast buffet and a three-course dinner are served daily. The cooks use only fresh (and if possible biological) ingredients and serve healthy and varied meals. The kitchen can cater for most of the more common dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose free, etc.).
Stayokay shares the premises with a number of interesting neighbours, which means that there’s always plenty to do, should you have any energie left after a hard days work at the theatre. For instance, the Studio K café and cinema is right around the corner.
The Stayokay hotel deal costs €540 on top of the AISS course fee. The price includes accommodation from Sunday July 15 till Friday July 28 (check out on Saturday July 29), a daily breakfast buffet and 10 three course meals. (Students are free to dine outside the hostel on Saturday July 21 and Sunday July 22 and on the closing evening of the course, Friday July 27).
AISS-students share rooms with five fellow dance students (boys and girls separated as much as possible), sharing a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet between the six of them.
The hostel carries an ECO-label and has a 100% no-smoking policy. Alcohol is available, but only for guests over 18 (ID mandatory). Free Wifi. Laundromat, bicycle rental, sweet machine, soft drinks machine, ice machine, ticket sales (public transport, Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum) are available.
If you wish to apply for accomodation at the Stayokay Youth Hostel you can do so via our 
application form. Due to a limited amount of available rooms, we advise students to apply for a place as soon as possible.
It is not possible to apply for a place at the hostel after 1 May.

Amsterdam offers a wide variety of possibilities with regard to hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts in all price categories. On the internet you can find all the information you need about hotels in Amsterdam. However, many tourists visit the city during the summer, so it is advisable to book accommodation in good time.
