In order to give proof of sufficient financial means for obtaining an entry visa or a residence permit, one or more documents are required and have to be sent to the AHK Enrolment Office to complete your application file.
Note: minimum amounts (net) per year are set as mentioned below:
- regular students: €7,916.28 (€659,69 monthly) (excluding tuition fee)
- students Socrates/Erasmus programme and preparatory year: €7,916.28 (€659,69 monthly)
Please note: as a regular student you also need to give proof of sufficient financial means to pay the tuition fees. These are € 3,000 (€ 250 monthly) for a bachelor course and € 4,000 per year (€ 333,35 monthly) for a master course. So, to obtain an entry visa or a residence permit for a bachelor's course you need to prove you have at least € 10,916.28 yearly. (€7,916.28 AND € 3,000)
Several options and/or combinations exist in proving sufficient financial means:
- own financial means
- a scholarship
- financial support by third party, either residing in the Netherlands or abroad
