Student Counseling
The training the school provides is made to measure. As a student develops to become an artist in the theatre work field, study counseling makes up an important and integrated part of the education. The study programme distinguishes between a number of forms of study counseling.
Study progress counseling/artistic development
This counseling is aimed at giving a student insight into his/her study progress. Its goal is also to allow students to determine their position in the study programme and their future place in the work field: to prepare for a career as an artist. For that reason it is individually orientated.
General study counseling /professional orientation
This form of counseling takes place via group discussions with the year groups. The above mentioned elements can play a role but here counseling is aimed more at group processes and information and explanation of lessons, lesson goals, projects, about study outlook, rules and conditions . In addition attention is devoted to professional orientation in a broader sense.
Following on from this, a student can choose a mentor who can offer personal support and help the student to reflect.
