Graduation Show 2011
The Netherlands Film and Television Academy is proud. Two years ago the Academy set up a master’s course, now the first seven students are graduating. During the Graduation Show the students will show, individually and collectively, some of the results of two years of study, experimentation and reflection.
The diversity of the research projects presented, mirrors the diversity of backgrounds and interests of the students – some with a film, others with a visual arts background – but all share a desire to lay open, question and play with the language of the moving image. Even when it’s presented in the form of a giant photo collage. Read more about the students and their projects on the graduation website:

The Graduation Show 2011 takes place from Thursday 8 till Sunday 11 September in
Het Ketelhuis and
MC Theater in
Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek, Amsterdam.
To compliment the projects that are shown in the cinema of Het Ketelhuis and the exposition space in the MC Theater, the students are organising a live programme with guests, discussions and a guided tour around three themes that bind them: process, presence and medium. This way the visitor is invited to participate in an investigation that is not over after this Graduation Show. Read more about the programme on the
graduation website where you can also find the schedule for the entire Graduation Show.
