Organisation

The core of the programme comprises the undefinedteaching team and the coordinator. The academy’s lector Film, Mieke Bernink, also serves as head of the programme. Coordinator of the course is Kris Dekkers (020-527 7471).

Apart from the lector, the teaching team comprises three mentors, who coach the students individually and bear joint responsibility for the course programme: Marjoleine Boonstra, Stefaan Decostere and Rada Šešiċ. All three are themselves makers of (inter)national renown, who have substantial expertise in their field, educational knowledge, coaching experience and a broad range of interests.

The majority of the teaching and coaching is carried out by undefinedguest lecturers and guest mentors from both the Netherlands and abroad. The students themselves are also given the opportunity to propose guest lecturers and mentors.

In addition, the programme has a Board of Advisors, comprising Peter Delpeut (filmmaker, writer), Bruno Felix (producer of Submarine), Simon Field (producer and former director of the International Film Festival Rotterdam), Frans van Gestel (IDTV producer) and Nelly Voorhuis (curator, administrator of Atelier HSL).
