Suzanne Rademaker

Suzanne Rademaker studied cinema and television theory at the University of Amsterdam and at the University of Melbourne. She received an additional Master's degree in art education, focusing on interdisciplinary arts education. She has since done several projects in the fields of both art education and media education. These include developing a minor study-programme in media education (in collaboration with the Dutch Institute for Film Education) and researching the educational use of mobile media & internet in art museums.

Rademaker currently works as a lecturer at the Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam. Her students are future mediaprofessionals, artists and art teachers. Her fields of interest include internet- and remix cultures, media education, and visual culture approaches in art education.
