The 6th of April, the Jazz department goes big, with a concert of the Concert Big Band, with established musicians Randy Brecker & Ben Wendel as soloists. 

About the soloists
Randy Brecker has helped shape the sound of jazz, R&B and rock for more than four decades. His trumpet and flugelhorn performances have graced hundreds of albums by a wide range of artists from Bruce Springsteen and Parliament/Funkadelic to Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, and Frank Zappa.

Grammy-nominated saxophonist Ben Wendel has enjoyed a varied career as a performer, composer and producer. Ben worked together with artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, Antonio Sanchez, Moonchild, Snoop Dogg and the artist formerly known as Prince. Ben is a founding member of the Grammy nominated group Kneebody.
