A film crew of the Academie voor Theater en Dans stopped by at our Open Doors! On 10 November 2017, we opened our doors to introduce visitors to the DAS master and research programmes.

Visitors were welcome to meet artistic directors, staff and students, get a taste of the practices of our peers by participating in workshops, and join us for performances of students and alumni in the evening.

Right in the middle of all of this, we organized a conversation in the heart of our house with local and international guests. We launched the latest volume of the challenging book series Performing Urgency: Empty Stages, Crowded Flats, which contains contributions about the ways curating and the staging of performances can be driven by investigations into the performative capacity to transform reality.
