HALf6 - Equal chances? Thursday 11 April at 17.30 hrs

Gepubliceerd op

On Thursday 11 April at 17.30 hrs Teana Boston-Mammah is our special guest during HALf6.

The transparency of selection criteria lies at the core of this edition of HALf6. Teana Boston-Mammah invites us to think about: who is being selected for an art academy and on what grounds? How are the labels ‘creative potential’ and ‘original’ infused with specific notions arising from a very particular class and ethnic location? How is the terminology of difference (class, ethnic and more) operating in those processes?

HALf6 - Equal chances? is be moderated by Zeynep Gündüz.
During this HALf6 Teana Boston-Mammah will present the film Een plek aan tafel.

Prior to this HALf6, Teana gives a workshop to the teachers of the departments Expanded Contemporary Dance, Modern Theatre Dance and Urban Contemporary/JMD.
