Małgorzata Wdowik (1988) is a theater director based in Warsaw, working in Poland and Germany. She studied in Theater Institute in Giessen on faculty Choreography and Performance and theater directing in Theater Academy in Warsaw.
She work with amatures and actors. Performances “Girls” and “Football players” produced in TR Warsaw were dealing with topic of emancipation of body.
In Germany she created works like “If you lived here” with Tamara Antonijevic in Mosenturm in Frankfurt.She collaborate with K.A.U kollective. Together they created performances as “Transit Monumental” on SpielArt Festival in Munich and “Fiasko” for Staadtheater in Darmstadt.
In 2015 on Prague Quadriennale performative installation “The boundaries of landscape” she did in collaboration with Robert Lassig and Tamara Antonijevic was was awarded in category Uprising Student Talent.
In her recent performances “Fear” and “Anger” , she was working with idea of affect and representation of emotions on stage.
In Das Theater she wants to continue work on this subject and this time focus her research on shame and question how shame can be a tool to build a community?
