Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship

From 2013-2016 the AHK has been a partner of the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE), the expertise centre and network for entrepreneurship. At the moment the AHK is discussing with Innovatie Exchange Amsterdam (IXA) how continue a collaboration for enterpreneurship in education. The IXA is an institute for valorization and a collaboration between UvA, HvA, AMC, VU and VUmc to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship.

By joining as a partner in ACE, the AHK offers students the opportunity to participate in activities in the field of entrepreneurship free of charge. In addition, the ACE plays a role in the knowledge development of teachers and staff members.

As a leading Center for Entrepreneurship, the ACE stimulates high-quality entrepreneurship through research and education; a mission which we successfully fulfil by joining forces with four top universities and universities of applied sciences in Amsterdam, the University of Amsterdam (UvA), VU University Amsterdam, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) and the AHK.

With a broad educational programme, the ACE works on the development of entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. In addition, the relevance and applicability of the entrepreneurial research contributes to the advancement of the entrepreneurial climate.

With a range of activities, the ACE brings entrepreneurship in and to the practice. Initiatives that inspire, stimulate and help students, teachers, researchers and entrepreneurs to keep setting standards that little bit higher.
