Audit Committee

The Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board is charged with the supervision of the Executive Board in the fields of internal risk management and control systems, and financial information provision. In addition, the Audit Committee acts as point of contact for the external accountant in the event that this person discovers irregularities in the content of financial messages, other than the annual accounts. The Audit Committee advises the Supervisory Board on the appointment of the external accountant and reports on his or her performance on an annual basis.

The Audit Committee consists, in principle, of three members from the Supervisory Board.
