The academies of the AHK have reopend for students and employees. However, the rule remains that you work from home as much as possible and that you only come to the academy in accordance with the corona protocol of your academy. The corona protocols per academy can be found on MyAHK:

In addition to the corona protocols of the academies, there is an AHK-wide corona protocol.

Mandatory face masks
The AHK applies an obligation to wear a face mask in the general areas in all buildings: entrances, corridors and sanitary facilities. This concerns the moments when you're walking around. The face mask may be removed in a classroom or studio, workplace or seat in the canteen. External visitors are also requested to wear a face mask in the general areas of the academies.

Reporting sick in case of a positive corona test
If you have taken a positive corona test, inform the academy immediately and help prevent (part of) the academy having to be closed because the correct measures could not be taken in time. Your report will be treated confidentially. In the AHK Corona Protocol you can read where you can report.

Questions about medical help and health insurance
If you need medical help (corona-related or not), please contact your doctor by telephone. If you do not have a general practitioner yet, register with a general practitioner as soon as possible. The academy buildings have very limited opening hours, the basic principle is that everyone works from home as much as possible. Hopefully, after the summer holidays, working at the academy buildings can be gradually restarted. Work is currently underway on models of "hybrid working": partly at home and partly at the office. You can find all the information you need to work from home on the special 'Working at home'-page on MyAHK. The normal procedure for reporting sick remains in effect.

Consultation hours company doctor
The AHK company doctor follows the guidelines of the RIVM to reduce direct contact moments. For AHK employees, this means that, at least up to and including 28 April, consultation hours will take place by telephone as much as possible. In necessary cases it will be examined whether the consultation hour can take place at a location to be agreed with the company doctor. However, the RIVM guidelines will be observed, which means that the appointment cannot go through with a cold, cough, sore throat and / or fever. Employees who have already made an appointment for a consultation hour will be personally informed by Human Capital Care (HCC).

In the event of worsening complaints that may indicate the coronavirus contact your doctor by telephone (in accordance with the RIVM guidelines). Be alert to cyber crime!
In these times, criminals try to strike online through hacking or phishing emails. Be alert to this and observe the following rules:

  • Do not just click on links in an email, unless you really trust the sender, and if in doubt, contact the ICT helpdesk via helpdesk@ahk.nl or 020 - 527 7752.
  • Do NOT give anyone your password, not even digitally.
  • Report suspicious situations immediately via helpdesk@ahk.nl or security@ahk.nl.
  • Do not open files that are sent in an email that you don't expect or trust.
  • If you receive an e-mail from a colleague with an assignment you do not trust, please contact that colleague by telephone to check whether it comes from that person.
