Tonight at the AHK Starterscafé: Map out your job opportunities
It is a challenge to secure a place in the professional field. You need to know who the kingmakers are in the cultural sector and who are the key figures in your field. How do you get to know the right people and which steps can you take.
About Simone van Bennekom
Simone van Bennekom (she/her) is the former project leader of the ‘entrepreneurship’ project of the AHK. She graduated from the Academy of Theatre and Dance, has had her own theatre company and is graduated in Economics and Entrepreneurship from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Simone is an entrepreneur and also works for the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
This workshop is conducted in Dutch. Feel free to ask questions in English. The English-language workshops will take place in January 2025.
Free workshop
This inspiring workshops is free for current students and recent graduates (after 2021) and €12.50 for AHK alumni who graduated before 2021 and external visitors.

At the end of the day, you're bound to be thirsty and hungry. We've got you covered. Before the workshops, we're pleased to offer you a delicious, complimentary meal. And the drinks are on us too.

17:30-18:00: Walk in & free meal | Meet your fellow students and experts and expand your network.
18:00-20:30: Tips & tricks | The instructor will tell you everything you need to know as a beginner.
20:30-21:00: The bar is open | Feel free to continue chatting with other guests or ask your tutor any questions.
