Payment Conditions
If you applied for a course and were admitted to the programme, the total course fees must be transferred to the account of the AHK, or the direct debit authorization must be given, before the starting date of the course (for some courses, earlier cancellation deadlines may apply). If not, the student may not participate in his/her course.
Right of withdrawal does not apply to courses at AHK.
Withdrawing from your course
If you have applied for a course and wish to withdraw, you must do so before the first day of instruction (for some courses, earlier cancellation deadlines may apply). If you withdraw after this date, or drop out of the course completely, you are still responsible for paying your course fees in full. The AHK can only make exceptions to this rule in certain cases. If you wish to appeal the payment of your course fees, you can present the circumstances that affected your ability to continue in your programme to academy director, who must provide you with written approval authorising the refund of your course fees.
Arrears
If any arrears in payment to the AHK occurs, the following will apply:
- The remaining debt will be payable immediately;
- If no payment is made after two reminders, a debt collection agency will be hired to collect the remaining debt;
- The debtor will be charged with the debt collection fees, which could amount to 15% of the amount owing;
- Access to all education facilities will be denied;
- Enrolment at the AHK will be terminated.
For courses for which different payment conditions are communicated, those conditions will apply.
