Student rooms for international students available

30 student rooms available for international students for academic year 2024-2025

The AHK does not own any student accommodation as such, but has made agreements with local housing providers. Thirty student rooms are now available for international students of the Amsterdam University of the Arts. Priority is given to first year students under 21 years of age. There are rooms available at Bijltjespad and Weesperstraat. The rooms are available under a short stay contract for the duration of 1 year.

The upcoming application round for students who are starting their studies in September 2024, will be open from Monday 17 June 2024. We expect to send you an update on your chances of receiving an offer in the first week of July 2024. This means that you will have two weeks to complete the application form, please check your email to find out if you have been selected for student housing.

Once you have been selected your details will be forwarded accordingly to housing provider Lieve de Key. They will sent you a room offer. If you receive a room offer, please follow the instructions to confirm (unfortunately, you cannot change the room or location offered). You will be given a very short time frame of a few days to book your room. If you fail to respond by the given date, you may lose the room.
