To log in to MyAHK, use your AHK account. For proper security, you are required to go through a two-step verification process. For this, you will have to use the NetIQ app.

Setup two-step verification with the NetIQ app

Follow these steps to set up two-step verification (also known as MFA or multi-factor authentication):

1. Install the "NetIQ Advanced Authentication" app from the App Store (for iPhone: iOS version 10.0 or higher) or Google Play store (for Android 9.0 or higher).
2. Go to register.account.ahk.nl on your PC/Mac.
3. Log in - as a new MFA user, you will be directed to the QR-code instruction screen.
4. Click "continue" at the bottom of the instruction screen.
5. Open the app from step 1.
6. Accept the terms and notifications.
7. Set up a PIN code.
8. Click the + icon in the top right corner (allow camera access if prompted).
9. Scan the QR-code - it will be checked off in green on your camera screen.
10. Enter a name, e.g., AHK-MFA, in the app for this authentication.
11. Press Save.

Voilà! The two-step verification registration is successful.

And now the post-check:
1. Close your browser
2. Open your browser
3. Go to myahk.nl
4. Log in with your AHK username and password.
5. Check your mobile phone for the received notification.
6. Click Accept.
7. The process will be completed with a green checkmark on the page.

Now you are successfully logged in.

Didn't work? Try the following:
1. Completely remove the app from your smartphone (note: simply closing it is not enough).
2. Start again from step 1 above.
3. If needed, contact helpdesk@ahk.nl or call us at 020 527 7752 and provide the following info: phone model, operating system, detailed error message, and screenshots.

Error messages during installation:
If the QR-code of the authenticator is not accepted, press F5 and try scanning the QR-code again. You will get a new QR-code and another 2 minutes to scan it.

Error 0 on Android during installation of the NetIQ app means a reinstallation of the NetIQ app is needed.
Base 64 error on iOS: first, try refreshing the page with the authentication QR-code (F5) and try multiple times. If that doesn't work, a reinstallation of the NetIQ app is needed.

Log in with a new phone

Net IQ on a new/different phone:
When transferring your data from your old phone to a new one, the NetIQ app is often transferred, but the so-called "verificator" is not.

Follow these steps:
1. Log in to the register.account.ahk.nl page on a computer
2. Go to the left column for the app and click "Continue"
3. You already have the NetIQ app, so click "Continue" directly (you will see two QR-codes: Android and iPhone)
4. After clicking "Continue," you will see a single QR-code, which is the verificator
5. Take your mobile phone, log in to the NetIQ app, click the + icon, and scan the verificator QR-code on the PC (click F5 to refresh if it doesn’t work the first time)
6. If everything goes well, it will be checked off in green
7. If it doesn’t work, remove the NetIQ app and start again.
