Log in with an SMS

You need to use your AHK account to log in to MyAHK. For proper security, you are required to complete a so-called 2-step verification. This can be done via an app on your smartphone but also with the help of an SMS. Take the following steps once to gain access with a code via SMS.

Step 1 of 7

Go to the website myahk.nl. You can go through the process on a computer, tablet or phone. 

Enter your AHK email address here (e.g. peter.vanvelden@ahk.nl or peter.vanvelden@student.ahk.nl) of the account that should be linked with the MS Authenticator and press sign in. You will now arrive at an AHK login screen.

Now enter the AHK password for the account and click sign in. You will remain on the AHK page but will now see a screen stating that more information is required.

Now click next. You will now land on a Microsoft page about the MS Authenticator app. Continue to Step 4.

If you are not going to use the app, click on I want to set up a different method. You will see the following pop up:

In this list select Phone. You now land on the next page.

 

Step 6 of 7

Set the country code to Netherlands and enter your telephone number. Then press Next. You land on the next page.

 

Step 7 of 7

Enter the code you receive via SMS and click next. You will end up on the last screen.

Congratulations! You're done. You can now use 2-step verification via SMS.
