EEFJE ARTSis projectmanager en operations coördinator in de festivalindustrie.

In 2015 begon ze aan de opleiding Productie Podiumkunsten (BA) van de Academie voor Theater en Dans, Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. Tijdens de studie besloot zij zich te focussen op de muziekindustrie en duurzame locatieprojecten. 

Sinds 2018 is ze werkzaam bij Apenkooi Events, waarbij ze zich onder andere bezighoudt met de internationale festivals DGTL, Pleinvrees en Gardens of Babylon.

Eefje Arts gelooft in festivals als inspirator voor een betere wereld. Het is haar doel om festivals te produceren waarbij hetgeen waar ze naar streeft in de wereld, al is bereikt. Een inclusieve, duurzame, veilige en vrije plek, als experiment en als voorbeeld voor de wereld buiten de grenzen van het terrein. Ze wil mensen al luisterend naar muziek, al dansend, samenbrengen voorbij de grenzen van hun politieke voorkeur, etniciteit, seksualiteit, gender en ras om zo een plek te creëren voor vrijheid, eenheid en respect.

Eefje Arts (1998) is a project manager and operations coordinator in the festival industry.

In 2015 she started her studies Production and Stage Management (BA) at the Academy for Theatre and Dance, Amsterdam University of the Arts. During her studies she focused on the music industry and sustainable on-site production.

In 2018 she started working for Apenkooi Events, where she is involved with international festivals such as DGTL, Pleinvrees and Gardens of Babylon.

Eefje Arts believes in festivals as an inspirer for a better world. Her goal is to produce festivals at which what she strives for in the world, has already been achieved. An inclusive, sustainable, safe and free place, as an experiment and as an example for the world outside the festival fencing. She wants to use music and the dancefloor to unify people beyond the boundaries of their political believes, ethnicity, sexuality, gender and race to create a place of freedom, unity and respect.
