Advisory Board

The research group has an Advisory Board that peer-reviews the research proposals submitted by members of the research team.

Talita Groenendijk

Talita Groenendijk (1979) works as a researcher at SLO. Her focus is primarily on curriculum development at the school level. Talita studied at the teacher training program for visual arts and design, followed by a degree in social and cultural anthropology. She earned her PhD from the University of Amsterdam in 2012 with research focused on students' creative processes in art education. Since then, she has been dedicated to designing education by teachers.

Symen van der Zee

Symen van der Zee is a lecturer in Science and Technology at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. He began his career as a primary school teacher, studied educational science and obtained his PhD with research into Dalton education. He is currently conducting research into digital literacy and enriching STEM education with educational technology, together with his exceptionally talented circle of experts. He is passionate about well-thought-out, meaningful, creative education and research.

Zeynep Gündüz

Zeynep Gündüz (1978) is researcher and teacher within the field of dance. She obtained her doctorate from the University of Amsterdam in 2012 for research into dance, created with interactive technologies (motion tracking). She is currently conducting practice-oriented research into how an online dance lesson can best be experienced by the student. Gündüz works for the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) and Fontys University of Applied Sciences as a dance teacher. She graduated from the ballet academy in Ankara in Turkey. In the Netherlands, she studied modern dance and media studies (BA and MA).

 

Bert Verveld

Bert Verveld was chair of the Executive Board of the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) from 1 March 2015 to 1 March 2023. The Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK) occupies a prominent position in arts education both nationally and internationally. Bert is now chair of the national consultation body for art teacher training programmes and institutes, the Supervisory Board of CINOP and the Culture and School Utrecht foundation. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of CASE (Centre of Expertise on Arts Sciences and Education).
