Marianne Boer appointed principal subject teacher of piano at Sweelinck Academy

As od November, Marianne Boer has joined the Sweelinck Academie, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam's national study programme for exceptionally gifted children, as principal subject teacher of piano.

As of November, Marianne Boer has joined the Sweelinck Academy , the Conservatorium van Amsterdam's national study programme for exceptionally gifted children, as principal subject teacher of piano. In 1992 Marianne Boer graduated from the Sweelinck Conservatory Amsterdam, where she studied with Jan Wijn. Additionally, she studied Musicology at the universities of Amsterdam and Utrecht. She is a versatile musician, performing solo as well as chamber music with various ensembles. She has worked at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam as teacher and repetiteur since 1997, and she also taught piano as a principal subject at University College Roosevelt in Middelburg for five years.
