Kelli is one of the authors of the recently released book Contemporary Performance Lighting. It is a book about contemporary lighting design for live performance. A book of interest not only to lighting designers, but especially to theater makers, producers, directors and teachers.

The book addresses the role of lighting design from three themes: “experience, creativity and meaning.” Lighting designers, researchers and artists from around the world write from their experience, with examples and cases, each on one of these three topics. On Sept. 20, Kelli will discuss these three topics, using examples from her book. Kelli also teaches at the University of Salford, UK.
