The Master of Education in Arts of the Amsterdam School of the Arts organizes an international summer school Remix Culture from 4 to 9 July 2011. This intensive six-day course focuses on the interdisciplinary possibilities that audio-visual media offer for art and media education. Special guest is Dutch sample artist Eboman.

The first edition of summer school Remix Culture is intended for teachers and students active in the field of art education that are able to implement the results of the summer school in their curriculum. Remix Culture offers arts and media educators new contents and didactics inspired by the contemporary media practices of professional artists and media-savvy youngsters. The course takes place at the Master of Education in Arts at the Waterlooplein 211-213 in Amsterdam.

The course will consist of formal lectures by inspiring experts, work and discussion seminars and field trips to contemporary art/media institutes in Amsterdam.
