International masterclass with Joan Busquets

In November 2011 Joan Busquets will be presented the prestigious Erasmus prize for his outstanding achievements in his urban design work. Therefore he will give a masterclass urban design at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture. On behalf of Joan Busquets the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture invites your school to send your most talented and best motivated architecture, urban design and landscape architecture students to participate in this masterclass.


There is a maximum of thirty participants (three per school).

Participants
Students in the later stage of their Master's programme in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture.

Costs
After being selected and invited the masterclass is FREE of charge. Travelling costs, accommodation, food and drinks are not included and will have to be arranged by the participants themselves.

Programme
August 17: Site visit, lecture and preparation of teams
August 18: Kick-off with Joan Busquets; work in studio with Joan Busquets and three assistants
August 19: Work in studio with Joan Busquets and three assistants
August 20: Work in studio, final presentations with press, guests and party

Deadline
Subscribe before June 1st. Selected students for the masterclass will be invited on June 1st.

Procedure
Applications will be handled in order of registration. First come, first served. Maximum of three students per school. If there are too many applications the maximum per school will be reduced to two or one. Schools will be informed about this before June 1st.
