In this issue we pay special attention to John Clayton, who was Artist in Residence at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for a period of five years. Likewise ON AIR pictures the journey of Ann Liv Young at the School for New Dance Development. Students kept a diary about this residency; their contributions are included by way of a poster. Also present: an outline of Jeanne van Heeswijk’s Public Practice, Artist in Residence at the Academy of Architecture, and her insistence to revitalize the public space.

We intend to share not only the most recent developments around the AIR programme with a bigger community, but we also would like to contribute to pressing issues, facing arts education and the professional field.

The next issue of ON AIR will be published in April 2012.
