Terri Lyne Carrington’s Mosaic Project with Tineke Postma wins Grammy

Terri Lynne Carrington’s album The Mosaic Project has won a Grammy Award in the category 'Best Jazz Vocal Album'. Saxophonist and CvA alumna Tineke Postma plays four solos on this album.

Twenty-one female artists participated in this project, like Esperanza Spalding, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Gretchen Parlato, Dianne Reeves en Cassandra Wilson.

Tineke has been working with Terri Lynne Carrington since 2005; she plays in a number of Terri Lynne’s bands, and Terri Lynne features on three of Tineke’s CDs (For the Rhythm, A Journey That Matters en The Traveller). This summer Tineke will play with The Mosaic Project at all the important jazz festivals in Europe.
