Dudok Quartet wins Charles Hennen International Chamber Music Competition

The Dudok Quartet has won first prize at the 27th Charles Hennen International Chamber Music Competition. The international jury praised the quartet for their convincing performance of Ligeti’s first string quartet. The final concert has been recorded by Radio 4 and is due to air on national radio.

 

The Dudok Quartet is formed by violinists Judith van Driel and Marleen Wester, violist Mark Mulder, and cellist David Faber. Judith, Marleen and David are CvA alumni.
