Daria van den Bercken nominated for Amsterdamprijs 2012

Pianist Daria van den Bercken, CvA alumna, has been nominated for the prestigious Amsterdamprijs 2012. The capital’s most important Prize for the Arts is awarded annually to three individuals or institutions that have contributed to the cultural life in a special and exemplary way.

From more than 700 motivated proposals, the jury made selected nine nominees on the basis of quality, innovation and international ambition. The winners will be presented at the Uitmarkt Amsterdam, the official opening of the cultural season.
