Concert to mark 400 years of diplomatic relations between Turkey and The Netherlands

2012 is designated as the 'Year of Turkey' in the Netherlands, to mark 400 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. To celebrate this, the Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Cem Mansur will give a concert on September 16. Soloist is cellist Ketti Roinishvili, who performed Dvorák's Cello Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam last April. The Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 2007, is a wonderfully energetic group of 95 young musicians of impressive virtuosity.
