Kersjes-prize 2012 for Van Baerle Trio, Kersjes grant for Amarins Wierdsma

The Van Baerle Trio has been awarded the Kersjes prize 2012, an amount of € 50.000,-. The trio consists of pianist Hannes Minnaar, cellist Gideon den Herder and violinist Maria Milstein, who are all CvA alumni. CvA student Amarins Wierdsma has been awarded the Kersjes violin grant, an amount of € 15.000,-

 

The Kersjes fund was founded in 1994 by conductor Anton Kersjes and huis wife, as an incentive to young talented musicians.
