Fourth-year piano student Camiel Boomsma has been awarded the Richard Wagner Grant by the Dutch Wagner Society in cooperation with the Richard Wagner Stipendienstiftung. This prestigious grant covers a visit to the Bayreuther Festspiele in the summer of 2013 and a concert by the laureates. Camiel will be attending three operas: Tannhäuser, Lohengrin and Das Rheingold. He is one of the first pianistst to receive this international grant.
