An investigative conference on the conditions and responsibilities for flourishing artistic biotopes in the city.

On 5, 6 & 7 September, Flemish Arts Centre De Brakke Grond, Het Veem Theater and the Theaterschool Amsterdam present a three day conference on the artistic axis Berlin-Amsterdam-Brussels.

An international alliance of venues, production platforms and theatre schools investigate the conditions for flourishing artistic biotopes. What can these three cities learn from each other? What are the most important differences and where is cooperation possible?

Apart from the panel talks and debates, there will be a performance programme featuring artists and musicians from the three cities. With keynote speaker Dr. Pascal Gielen, Mark Fisher, John the Houseband, Stichting Nieuwe Helden, Michiel van Iersel, and HZT Berlin, among others.
