He will be presented the award - consisting of € 2014,- and a sculpture by Laren-based artist Ben Hosman, during a ceremony at the Laren Jazz Festival on September 6th, where he will also give a concert with his band BRUUT!.
Maarten graduated from the master degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2014.
