Daahoud Salim Alvarez to solo with Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam

Pianist Daahoud Salim Alvarez has been chosen after an audition round to be the soloist in the next project with the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, conducted by Andrew Grams.

He will play Erwin Schulhoff’s Piano concerto op. 43. The orchestra will also play Mahler’s Fifth Symphony. The concerts will take place on April 24, 21.00h at  Muziekgebouw Eindhoven; April 25, 20.15h at Muziekcentrum Vredenburg Utrecht, and April 26, 15.00h at  Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ in Amsterdam.

Daahoud Salim Alvarez (Sevilla, 1990) studies with David Kuyken in the master degree programma at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
