On 8 January Israeli right wing activists attempted to prevent the performance Archive by Arkadi Zaides that was presented in Israel in Tmuna Theater in Tel Aviv as also happened with his performances in France last year. Arkadi Zaides graduated from the Amsterdam Master of Choreography last year with the work Archive. The performance shows footage of violence committed to Palestine citizens, the performance deals with the repercussions of the long lasting occupation on the bodies of Israelis. Zaides makes use of the archives of B'Tselem an organization that provides cameras for Palestine citizens to enable them to proof the violence that is committed to them in court. B'Tselms's activity is being constantly delegitimized by rightists in Israel. The performance did happen however but the protest raised quite some debates in Israeli media.
