Pianist Tobias Borsboom has won the Dutch Classical Talent Award. The final of the Dutch Classical Talent Award concluded the Tour & Award programme, an eighteen-month-long career programme for a number of selected musicians, which includes coaching and concerts at prominent venues in the Netherlands. The programme aims to help young musicians launch their concert career by giving them the chance to work on a full concert programme and providing coaching in stage presentation and programming.

Tobias Borsboom graduated in 2013 from the master's degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he studied with Jan Wijn. In addition to being a much sought-after pianist, he is a répétiteur at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
