The new academic year has started in the renovated building at Hortusplantsoen in the Plantation Weesperbuurt. From 31 August the exhibition De Passage markes the relocation and the core products of the Academy.

Coached by lecturer Mario Jellema, nine students enrolled in the minor Exhibition Direction, designed the concept to the realization of the exhibition in which the Academy itself is presented. The Passage is literally a covered shopping street with the 'products' of the Academy. In the 19th century, shop windows and showcases were in vogue to exhibit consumer goods. A form of presentation museums worldwide still are using. Also the passage symbolizes a crossing. And figuratively De Passage refers to the educational career of a student towards a professional career as a heritage professional.

The exhibition -till 24 septembr- is free for visitors during the opening hours of the Reinwardt Academy.
