The Ardemus Saxophone Quartet has wons econd prize at the Papandopulo Competition in Zagreb, in the chamber music category.

The Ardemus Saxophone Quartet has won second prize at the Papandopulo Competition in Zagreb, in the chamber music category. The quartet also won a special prize for their performance of Ligeti’s Bagatelles, which they will record in the studio of the National Croatian Radio. After the competition they played a concert in the Music Academy of Zagreb as official representatives of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

The members of the quartet - Lisa Wyss, soprano saxophone; Lovro Mercep, alto saxophone; Jenita Veurink, tenor saxophone, and Yo-yo Su, baritone saxophone, all study with Arno Bornkamp and Sven Arne Tepl.
