Two prize-winners at Geelvinck Fortepiano Competition

Wakana Shimizu (1990) has won second prize at the International Geelvinck Fortepiano Competition, which was held from October 15-18, 2015. She also won the Romain d'Ansembourg Prize. Wakana studied with Willem Brons and graduated from the master's degree programme at the Cosnervatorium van Amsterdam this year.

Naruhiko Kawagucki (1989) has won third prize. He studies with Richard Egarr in the master's degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
