Prize-winning young talents at PCC Competition

Several Conservatorium van Amsterdam students have won first prizes during the regional qualifying rounds of the Prinses Christina Competition, the largest competition for young musicians in the Netherlands.

Mischa van Tijn (15) and Manuel Sanguino (17) won first prize in the category 15-19 years of age. Mischa studies piano with Marjes Benoist at the Sweelinck Academy, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam's young talents department; Manuel studies piano with Mila Baslawskaja, also at the Sweelinck Academy.
Menno Verloop (13) won first prize in the category 12014 years of age. Menno studies violin with lex Korff de Gidts at the Sweelinck Academy.
All three will participate in the semi-final on April 2.
