To professional theatre makers, as well as creative producers, curators, programme makers,
We look forward to welcoming you during our Open Day on Friday 4 November 2016.

If you are thinking of applying to DAS Theatre, either now or in the future, you probably would like to find out how the course operates, who the students are and what sort of projects they are developing. We have devised a number of ways to present what we do: offering works-in-progress or self-devised mini workshops, screening a DVD about our feedback culture, arranging a ‘curriculum room’.

We’ll get back to you in September-October with the exact programme. We’ll keep you posted on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1018791848213019/

If you want to get an impression: check out our Facebook album of the Open Day 2015 https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153866997064893.1073741849.354627239892&type=3

Deadline for Applications: 17 November 2016

For more information about the application procedure, please see Application & Admission.

About DAS Graduate School and DAS Theatre
DAS Theatre is an international laboratory for professional theatre makers and art workers from all walks of the performing arts. Within this two-year, question-based, residential programme students define their goals and research methods in order to foster their artistic development.

About DAS Graduate School
The two Master’s study programmes of the Academy of Theatre and Dance, DAS Theatre and DAS Choreography, and the Performing Arts in Transition research group have joined forces. Not only do we share one building in Amsterdam-Noord, we also are moving forward together under one name: DAS Graduate School. The study programmes and research group will each preserve their own identity through the addition of DAS Theatre, DAS Choreography or DAS Research.

Khaled has been developing a method to clarify the complex process of making theatre; a method that adults and children can use. It is a tool for translating the mind, for going behind logic and tapping into imaginary fields.
