Three of the four bands that have reached the final of the Dutch Jazz Competititon consist fully or partly of students/and or alumni from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. The CvA finalists are:
* Xavi Torres Trio, with alumni Xavi Torres, Joan Terol and Vic Moliner
* Vuma Levin Quintet, with students and alumni Vuma Ian Levin, Bernard van Rossum, Xavi Torres, Marco Zenini and Jeroen Batterink
* Tommy Moustache, with alumnus Jasper van Damme
The final will be held on Friday June 10th at the Bimhuis
