Hannes Minnaar awarded 'Nederlandse Muziekprijs'

Pianist Hannes Minnaar has been awarded the 'Nederlandse Muziekprijs 2016', the highest award in the Netherlands in the field of classical music.

Hannes Minnaar (1984) studied piano with Jan Wijn and organ with Jacques van Oortmerssen at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He hs won many prizes, both as a soloist and as a member of the Van Baerle Pianotrio. In 2010, he won third prize at the final of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition.
