During Europride Reinwardt Academy and IHLIA presented the publication Queering the Collections, tips and tricks for even more visibility to gender and sexual diversity in museums and collections.
In a festive setting of the Shakespeare Club in the courtyard of the Amsterdam Museum on 2 August Professor Riemer Knoop offered the book to Daniel Neugebauer (right, Van Abbemuseum). The book is in Dutch but also contains A Little Gay History, from Ancient Egypt to the modern museum: A personal view by R.B. Parkinson in English. It can be read online or ordered through IHLIA.
