The Netherlands Film Academy on an art and cultural mission in New York

It is the first time that the City of Amsterdam is organizing a full cultural mission. The Netherlands Film Academy will be part of this cultural mission. From September 7 until the 11th, more than 60 participating institutions will be gathering in New York to introduce a wider international audience within the Amsterdam arts and culture scene and vice versa.

From September 7 until the 11th,  more than 60 participating institutions will be gathering in New York to introduce a wider international audience within the Amsterdam arts and culture scene and vice versa. 

The mayor's office invited the New York Film & Media industry for a lunch on September 8. During this meeting Bart Römer will speak about in Amsterdam based talent development. 

 

Kajsa Ollongren (Alderman for Economic Affairs and Culture) enables in the NRC of April 27: "Especially in the world of art and culture, there is a massive globalization. It is good if many talents come to the city, also for business, it is important to draw a lot of creative people to our city. Art and culture determine the identity and attractiveness of the city."
