Three CvA prize-winners at Geelvinck Fortepiano Competition 2016

Three (former) Conservatorium van Amsterdam students have won prizes at the Geelvinck Fortepiano Competition 2016.

Artem Belogurov (photo) won first prize and jointly the Geelvinck Audience Prize. Artem graduated from the master’s degree programme in Historical keyboard instruments in July 2016.

Master’s degree student Naruhiko Kawaguchi won the  Stanley Hoogland Square Piano Award and jointly the Geelvinck Audience Prize. He studies fortepiano in the CvA master’s  degree programme.

Mao Omori won second prize and the Romain d’Ansembourg Incentive Prize. Mao graduated from the master’s degree programme in piano in June 2016.
